Tatum and Brown have to shoot better in the 4th, they're horrendous

Otherwise on the game 4
Yeah they just couldn’t overcome Tatum poor shooting night. Could go crazy in Game 4.

They made a nice run at it. Glad we finally saw a good game this series

He's half right.
Phoenix would match up especially well with any eastern team

Golden State would likely struggle with Boston a bit match up wise. Warriors definitely better though

Both western teams would have home court in any match up too

Both PHX and GSW would be favored in the Finals against any team. So you are full right. Going in.

Only wanted to give you 1/2 credit though.

Celtics at some point will need to win 2 in a row to win this series. ;)

Warriors a high turnover team naturally but if they cleaned this up a bit they’d be up close to 30

Very unforced

Shooting 72% helps though

Why do coaches make stupid challenges?

And that's why you don't listen to your players and challenge a charge call which will NOT be overturned. Because you could have challenged that ridiculously horrible non shooting call at the end. How does the ref not know the situation? Down 3, seconds left, Smart elevates, of course he's shooting you stupid fucks.

I'm really complaining about coaches as an extension of their players wasting challenges. Officiating in the NBA is the worst in all of sports, I've been saying that for decades. So coaches should never waste that precious challenge

There are charges in the NBA, and then there are Giannis charges

There are a different set of rules for him, different standards

The announcers are cute, they're blaming it bad angles for the officials

In the 90s, they used to say officials had to change the definition of a foul for the Knicks because Pat Riley's Knicks fouled so hard and so often you couldn't possibly call them all. So you let them get away with fouling, they wrote their own rulebook

Today, we have the same phenomenon with Giannis. He charges so hard and so often, or he simply drives his shoulders into a strong 236 lb defender two or three times until he gets a lot closer the rim and shoots a bunny, and they let do just that him time and time again. Nobody else is allowed to play that way. Most players don't do anything near what Giannis does, the defender flops, a charge is called.

Some of the non-calls or blocking calls were so bad, you had poor Hubie Brown gasping like he was Tommy Heishein, before he collected himself and said something like the official had a bad angle. Kinda funny really

But, we all know it's coming, the Giannis charge rules. You have to be good enough to overcome them

Boston shoots 17 free throws to Bucks 0 from over 4 min in 3rd to end of game.

Milwaukee is missing one of the best 2 way wings in the game.

Boston's super star player is literally shut down(literally in every aspect of the game) by a much shorter 35 year old that was on the scrap heap going into this season...

And still the whining about it not being fair to Boston.

That 3 point shot wouldn't have been overturned because even as Jaylen Brown admitted the refs haven't been calling that a shooting motion all season.

The fact C's wanted it overturned simply on the fact of time, score and situation isn't a valid reason.

They aren’t gonna call that a shooting foul in that situation in a regular season game, much less a playoff game

Can you even challenge that (if you had a challenge)?

Probably can. But Boston would have lost the challenge.

I was at the game. Ref called it on the floor a micro second after the foul happened.

It was a no brainer call considering how that has been called all season.

Odds Smart would have made all 3 free throws anyways? ;)
