Funny. I just came in to ask the exact same question.. On the surface it makes zero sense.

You would think there has to be a somewhat reasonable explanation.

Only guess I have is that they want the higher seeds to have opportunity for bigger gap between rounds by having them play their games first, should they take care of business?

That or they want Warriors and the more competitive Eastern series on a Saturday ?

I dunno only things I could come up with

If there are game 7's in Boston or GS series, they will be next Sunday. Game 1 of the CF's involving those teams could also be Sunday with this scheduling. Those are the 2 most mainstream public teams left.

Only thing I can think of.. They figure the BOS/MIL and MEM/GS games will get better ratings. So they put them on Saturday rather than Friday.

At least it means we get some Phoenix action tomorrow

Last I saw it was a pick ‘em. Any thoughts? Mavs get it in a zig zag game?

I have 1k on Patrick Mahommes' daddy leading the AFC champions to over 9.5 wins this upcoming year at +100

Made with another poster

I popped the C's +125 after game one. Like those odds a lot better than -200 :)

Currently -125

Oops, looks like I quoted the wrong post

I'll stick with my original prediction of PHX in 5. So they will at the very least take this one tonight or on Sunday.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if this is a sweep though. I told you as soon as this series was set that this was a huge mismatch. And it is.
