Well they should. But if Miami could hit shots like an NBA team maybe an upset wouldn't be so outlandish. I think this line is very steep.

Didn't you pick Miami two games ago? There would certainly be worse losses than this.

I do expect the Cs to win. But I wouldn't be even near stunned if they didn't. Don't forget that the Cs have key guys who are banged up too. And they have aquired a foul shot disease. And they aren't hitting their threes.

If the Cs win this series it isn't because their offense has been solid. They've had their defense in sync but their offense sure needs to get right before facing Golden State.

I mean the Cs aren't winning these games. Miami is losing them. If they showed tonight I wouldn't be stunned.

FWIW I picked Miami to cover Games 1-3, and 5. I had Celtics covering Game 4.

8 to 9-point favorites, better roster, healthier, at home, trip to Finals can be clinched .... feels like unless Miami shoots like crazy/plays out of their mind, a Celtics loss at home would warrant at least a moderate choke ranking, no? Especially considering their recent ECF struggles

Nobody is going to remember the loss at home to the Bucks in round 2, because they went on to win the next two games and advance. Nobody will remember a Boston loss tonight if they win in Miami on Sunday.

But all things equal, this would have to be at least a couple notches up on the choke scale because it's the ECF and it's a close out game. Vs a second round series in a game 5 when it was tied 2-2. Stakes are higher now.

Semi-random: Almost exactly 10 years ago, Boston had a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. Closeout Game 6 at home, against the Heat. LeBron played one of the best halves in the NBA playoff history. Changed the trajectory for both himself and Boston in a lot of ways.

I’ll say this, I haven’t spoken to anyone who thinks it going 7. Funny, I paid for my game 7 tickets the day of game 5. My card hasn’t been charged yet. Just texted my guy an hour ago and he told me that the ticket office told him to hold off
