LOL WOW! Navy totally blew the end of the half.
They had a 4th and 1 at the 16. They picked it up with :20 left the clock was stop. They lined up to spike it but before they could Navy got called for a sideline warning with :16 left.. The refs restarted the clock and Navy didn't realize it and was in the huddle..
They were just getting to the line and they realized it and called a timeout with :04 left.. They line up and miss the field goal.

thanks for the updates sekrah, and I'm definitely not trying to start a pissing match, but aren't you at least a little bit impressed by navy now with dobbs at QB? I mean they were undervalued and absolutely kicked ass against the spread all last year, and to me, with dobbs at QB, I think they are much better- maybe even top 25 caliber. I predict another year of major "under the radar" ATS success for navy!
Yes, they are better with him passing, but from what I see they have absolutely no legitimate threat to catch the ball.
I have made it standard protocol to bet against Navy after huge matchups the week before (usually after they come up short vs Notre Dame). It's been a very profitable angle over the years.
How and who a team plays the previous week, and who they play the week after today is prominant handicapping factor for me. Alot of the times I assume the pointspread is very close to the real abilities of talent on the two sides and use the emotional state of teams to make my decision.

yeah, that might have been a good trend at times, but i think that they are just criminally undervalued right now- and that is more my style- finding teams with major value, positive or negative, and either riding them or fading them throughout the season.. navy has the discipline, coaching, and talent at QB of a top 10 team right now, but will continue to get that "just another service academy" lack of respect. they will be a money train this season. So will florida against practically any spread, bosie on the smurf turf, and so too will be fading ohio state in big games against faster and more talented teams. death, taxes, and OSU losing games like tonight.. some things never change me thinks..
