BTW....this is what I release today on this game....
"BIG GAME PLAY"-UNDERDOG GAME OF THE MONTH: (7 Units)
Florida St +10 (EZ Winner!)
*Short write-up.....
-Well Gang...this play wasnt as strong when the line first came out...however, the points added alot of value to this one...and it seems mainly due to the loss of Fl St's LB Nicholson, as well as, all the hype surrounding the Lions... I do agree that losing your top tackler and defensive leader is a big one in a game like this one is...but a jump in 3 points, to me, is a just to much...For this reason and many more, I cannot pass up this line value..which I again remind you is not the only factor to me backing up the Noles tonight...I am first and foremost a fundamental/situational capper..and not a primary line watcher, like alot of others out there are...so I've done the work comparing these two...and this line just makes this one a whole lot stronger...
Tonight, the Noles have TWO BIG things in their favor...and these cannot be overlooked at all....1. Speed and 2. Motivation.....Speed kills and the Noles have a shit load of this..along with alot of athleticism as well.....And Motivation, Oh Boy, do the Noles have alot of motivation to kick ass tonight....I still cant believe all the people disrespecting this team by saying Penn St should be playing someone better....WTF!....This maybe somewhat true...but No So Fast with the disrepect Lion Fans...Dont forget that you have a young team, your playing against one of colleges best coaches and football programs...And, dont forget that the past two seasons you were 4-8 and 4-7....not to mention, you havent been to a bowl since 2002..
Most times, the only missing ingredient for teams like the Noles is the lack of motivation...We know each year they possess talent, speed, and athleticism....but, motivation and focus is absent, thus they dont play to their full potential during the season...This can happen to many good teams who year in and year out face a lot of the same teams they always spank...Its hard for them to get up each and every week to the lesser competition and thus they look like shit, even when they win....
Well, lack of focus and motivatin wont be a factor or mising from tonights game for any of the Noles players....NO F'IN WAY!....And that disrepect they got only helped to provide that needed wake up call...or should I say, help to keep them focus after the ACC Title win over Va Tech...
Anyways, for these reasons and several more...I simply cannot pass up taking the Noles, who I know will be playing with focus and motivation...and who already proven in the ACC Title Game vs Va Tech, what they can do when their have alot of this...Oh and dont forget, that Bobby also has alot of motives as well...as he is behind Joe Pa in Bowl wins, the only record that he didnt either tie or surpass yet...Plus he also has not been able to beat Joe Pa, losing 6 of the last 7 games they played....so I look to him to want to put this to rest tonight as well....
In the bowls we all know that motivation is something that can inspire teams, who others feel doesnt have a chance to win, to prove the world wrong...and this year has been no different...just ask Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, GT, Miami, and Oregon....Difference here is we get one of the best FB programs, not from the past but currently and we get them with double digit points as well....Love it!.....GO NOLES!
