It should be florida bama in the title game. Iknow they are in the same conference but one of them is your next champion. SEC is football. All others would like to be. Happens every year. We just beat each other out.

excluding fla/alabama, the sec is meaningless this year. alabama doesnt have a shot of beating florida. florida controls destiny

Maybe A Dumb ?.........

But..........How Is OU In The BIG 12 Title Game, if they beat Okie St, Instead of Texas.......They Each Have 1 Loss & Texas Beat OU....Shouldn't Texas Get In? This Is How It Works In The SEC/ACC.....Head To Head Is The Tie Breaker.

You left out Texas Tech.... If OU beats Okie St, Texas beats Tex AM, and Tex Tch beats Baylor--- 3 way tie for Big 12 South.. They would use BCS ranking for right to play Mizzou in the game.. With that said, it is possible for OU and Texas to win and baylor to beat Tech.. OU would be ranked 2 in BCS and texas 3.. Texas goes to champioship game its just a 2 way tie.. OU needs a 3 way tie.

If Oklahoma Beats Okie Lite than it would go to a three way tie for first in Big 12 south and the one playing in the title game against Mizzou would be the highest BCS ranked team which will probably be OU as long as they lay it on Okie lite. Ou owns Mizzou in Championship Game and will blow thru them leaving them a one loss team with a conference championship.

Now, Florida wins out and then plays Alabama who they will demolish and wins their conference. The rankings would end up as such:

1.OU
2.Florida
3.Texas
4.Bama
5.USC (Bullshit but that is what will happen, should be 8 or 9)

The National Championship would be a pick'em and it's a coin flip on who wins. Ou if the play them like they did Tech. All I know is the o/u would open around 77 and I will lay the retirement fund on it! LOL J/K

Right now I'd have to say Florida and OU.

OU beats OSU and leapfrogs Texas. Florida will get the other spot with a win over Bama in the SEC Championship game. I dont think Florida will blow Bama out of the water though, as some on here think.

Even if that happens, that only guarantees them a game against Mizz in the B12 championship. They would have to have an impressive win to pass USC in the BCS since USC has a nice lead in the AVG department.

What if Mizzou wins the Big 12 CG, Florida beats Bama in the SEC CG, but a one-loss Bama is still rated higher than a one-loss USC, because the one-loss Bama lost to the #2 ranked BCS school?

How pissed would the USC fans be?!

"pounded"??? uh no, was a tight game where ou's special teams play and the loss of reynolds played huge factors in texas winning (plus i gotta admit mccoy was unreal that day).

i have no problem if texas finishes ahead of ou, but i'm tired of hearing texas fans bitching if the sooners do jump them. hell, they have no problem jumping tech even though the red raiders beat them. bottom line, someone's getting the shaft in this system until we get a playoff, hopefully it's the shorthorns this year.

LOL - excuses excuses. YES, pounded!

cheers bitch!

I've been predicting for weeks a Tex/Fla championship game. OU did not pass Texas in the BCS after the destruction of TT, so I don't see it happening after the Ok. St. game either. Too bad, we need a play-off.

I agree; if Alabama is undefeated after the SEC championship game in Atlanta, they should be playing for the National Championship

We shall see.
