Is this contest a firm go? If yes, are there any more openings? What are the specifics as far as how the contest will work?
If still in need of a sponsor, how about Sirbet? They sponsored our Nascar contest last year!

It is a firm go. I am currently limiting to 20 players. I may be able to do 25.(Maybe). Sirbet is an option at this time. There have been a couple other offers as well. I am going to finalize by mid-week hopefully. Please sign-in if interested so you do not get shut out. You are welcome to join us of course. I have played in this pool for 5 years. It has always been fun.
The rules...
All Nextel Cup drivers will be valued from $2.5 million tapered down to $300,000 based upon last years point standings. The Champion, Matt Kennseth, will be the highest priced driver. Select 8 drivers staying under a $10,000,000 salary cap. Each player will be allowed 3 trades per half of the season. If a team folds, you will be given a free trade, but must remain under the $10,000,000 cap. If a new driver takes over temporarily then you will have the option of a free trade or you may keep that driver Even if over $10,000,000 until it becomes a permanent partnership with the team. Once announced permanent, you must use a free trade if over the $10,000,000 cap. Each of your 8 drivers will be scored exactly the way they are scored by NASCAR after the race. If NASCAR deducts penalty points for one of your drivers, then you will lose those points as well. The season will be for 36 races. Each week there will be a winner(s). There will be year end winners. Winners are determined by the compilation of points by your 8 drivers after each race.
Would you consider participating? There will be atleast a $200 post-up fee.
