I'm hoping most of you are joking when you say you actually believe some of these are real.

Granted, the pictures and information is real and I am sure the celebs/athletes check in occassionally. But these profiles are set up by their agents/managers/publicists who update these and reply/comment.

Thats true. *most* of these are done by managers etc. But they are their myspace pages, and not some fake imitation done by some 40 year old guy pretending to be a celeb behind the screen - which was the point.
