Cash only has been working for the last 50 years for our family in the neighborhood bar business. If we were 10x the size we wouldn't be a neighborhood bar. If you can't figure out how to keep your loses to a minimum in theft than it is hard to believe you ran any kind of bar. There are ways to limit your loses in these situation and if you ran as many bars as you say you should know what they are. We would pay thousands of dollars in processing fees.
I think it is crazy to not carry some cash on you if your robbed. How many times do you hear of people being kidnapped and taken to an ATM. If I am personally robbed they get $100 or so from me and leave me alone. Since I dont carry credit cards or debit cards I am much safer. Just my opinion.

Wrong again. It is hard to believe your this stupid. First of all to get my residency I have to have 12 employees on the CAJA and invest in a business here in CR, so why would I fuck with that especially since what I save on credit card processing fees more than offsets the CAJA payments. I also have my account stop by on the 15th of every month to pay my taxes and every bottle is bought legally with the tax stickers and receipts to prove it.
Looks like i hit the nail right on the head... you are too cheap to let people use credit cards because of the fees. So you'd rather have your customers carry cash on them and let them take take the risk. Judging by your cheapness i am probably 100% correct about the CCSS and your not paying taxes to tributacion.

However, there are ticos here and there who are better than their peers and take some kind of pride in their work even if it's few and far between. The goal of every owner shoudl be to find these gems and keep them, and keep rolling through the rest until they do find one, not just be content with 'well all service in CR sucks' (as it pretty much does). :drink:
