My highest recommendation tonight is for you to take the Denver Broncos

I would not kick the FG there if Tucker was the kicker and Trever Siemian was the QB .

Well maybe not the Siemian part but still

The decisions at the end of the game were great as far as I was concerned. Keep up the good work coach !

Well haha this didn’t go well…
No, no it didn't. Didn't see it coming at all.

Geno Smith played great 1H then reverted back to old Geno 2H. Problem was the penalties, turnovers and bad coaching decisions by Denver. Denver lost it more than Seattle won it IMO.

It happens. Life goes on.

You should be happy for your team. Had to feel awesome

Week 1 NFL is always tough. The games this weekend were chaotic

I don't care to be honest with you. They'll be lucky to win 4 games this year. I'm upset they went into this year with G. Smith instead of going and getting Mayfield, Huntley or Mariotta. That's why I said they are tanking on purpose.

Why the hell do you settle for a 64 yard field goal in that situation? Go for it. You can get a lot of open looks against a defense like that

They seemed determine to try and bleed the clock, yet forgot to try and get close enough to actually make a kick

Nice coaching debut lol
because its the right play. he makes that 50% of time, its called math

Disagree completely. THe odds of making a 65 yd FG have been estimated to be 7%. When't the last time you saw a 65 yd FG? Oh yea, once in the history of the NFL. The odds of making a midfield 4th and 5 are much closer to 50%. At 50 or 55 yds the odds of making that field goal soar upward for a FG goal kicker of that calibre.

Bahahaha
No he don’t lol.
There has been exactly one FG in NFL history that has been successful from that range and further .

But there have been hundreds of failed attempts over the years .

Math lol

It’s called you are an idiot if you believe that .

making a 4th and 4 is 50% though
Maybe even more

I suppose if you make up your own percentages, that can help

His actual career stats > 60 yards, was 25% now 20%. He made one in his entire career

He's 2 of 10 at 58 yards plus, the math is pretty conclusive

I like McManus, one of the best, but his legacy and his distance are both aided by playing in Denver

Furthermore, if that was truly the only option, I'd kick too,. But it wasn't the only option. They had time and they had timeouts, trying to pick up a 4th and 5 with a minute to go was a way better choice.

Making 4th and 4 is a minimum of 50%
Making the 2nd longest FG in NFL history 10% at best
4th and 5 with the 12th man noise and a makeshift offense that didnt do jack shit all night is way less than 50pct. then guess what the kick still doesnt have to be made

Wtf dude
I don’t know what to say man

there have been literally hundreds of desperation attempts at 64 yards and more in NFL history and exactly 1 of them has been successful but yet somehow you think it was 50% when willie just told you the kicker in question is only 2 out of 10 on kicks lifetime of 58 yards or more and over half of those attempts was in Denver where the ball travels further .

And somehow you get 50% out of that .
You post shit just to get a reaction .
There is no way someone can be this dumb in real life .

And 4th in 5 in that spot is at or close to 50%

Kickers are 2/42 all time for 64+ yarders for what it's worth

That's 4.8%

Might've been close to feasible in Denver, but not on a humid night in Seattle.

Horrendous decision to kick the FG. If Denver took a timeout immediately after the third down play their probability of winning was a tad under 37% while the odds of McManus making that FG were a touch under 7%.

Denver’s coaching all game was horrid.

I agree with all you've said but at the end of the day, I was really confident in Denver winning the game and as we all saw, the Broncos did not cover their spread or ML so to say I was off is really an understatement and that's on me. I made a bad call and have to take some ridicule for that and I fully understand.
