No one pays for plays here, people just tip after a great week. I probably got 5k in tips over the years, its dumb to think people will pay for picks before results. Good Luck to you.

I second that as a shitty gambler people have in the past "tipped" me for my crap nit near the tune of 5k lol. It was always appreciated but never expected. And I always was appreciated.

For the record in the 20 years I have been here, I have had several say they would do something. Only one person did and I have become friends with him as class act. Would not take anything from him now.

GL Kojack. I support your decision but will not be paying for your picks. I am pretty sure most of us joined this community to avoid paying touts. I hope that you find continued success. Too bad the leeches always have to ruin a good thing.

Well, I've tailed a very select few here. My greed is what cost me 2 losing seasons in a row. Before that, I almost quadrupled my bankroll. Now if I can triple? I will tip those who have helped. I had never thought about the tipping but I believe thats a good way of doing things and extremely noble. But Too often I've seen guys kill it one yr and then go tout only to give out trash plays. Not saying Kojak would. But I prefer to see the results before I tip the hat...

As other veterans here have voiced, I'm truly saddened this day finally came for KOJAK. Another popular veteran Rxer goes tout.

I've seen this pattern numerous times here at the Rx. It's not a unique set of facts.

Successful handicapper gets lambasted for one thing or another, and uses that incident to springboard to tout.
This way, he's able to charge for plays to weed out those who don't appreciate him. Patently obvious, and it's not
a new game plan by any means.

Chumming the boards with second and tier games for free is a veiled attempt to promote the handicapping service IMO.

The MODERATORS/ADMINS here at the Rx won't care, but any stealth promoting of KOJAK'S new handicapping service via the posting of
"second and third tier plays" should be in the SITE PROMOTIONS FORUM. If they care about the integrity of the individual forums,
this is what they'd do. Yet, I'm pretty sure they'll turn a blind eye to all of this. They make and enforce the rules, so it is what it is.

Anyway, KOJAK, I wish you the best of luck with your new endeavor. Like many, I hoped to not see the day when you become a tout.

Ok "mod"!!!

Let him post his plays here.

GL man. Only your decision to make IMO.

But you gotta love the internet nowadays telling you how to spend money, how to raise your kids, who you can shoot, etc etc...

Seems like a weird way to announce you're going tout

Good luck

Really disappointing to see this. The Rx to Tout train has almost always ended in a fiery de-railing into the dark abyss

Like Powerz said, this was clearly the end-game for awhile now. You didn't post for 6 months (March to Sept) and after one week, you hang it up?

I bet if you had simply asked for a thank-you donation for your efforts and provided a method to contribute, you would have been well rewarded. I surely would have chipped in to keep you on this board. You were a phenomenal capper.

Did anyone keep accurate results of Kojack's plays/results during the NFL seasons past? I always liked reading his threads for the insight or to help with a spot I was on the fence with but never really bothered to check his long term results. I'm not questioning whether or not he knows football, we all know he does, I'm just curious if anyone kept track of it given he's charging for his picks?

Post plays If you have a good day post your pPaL after. I'm sure some people will take care of you. And it will be a lot better than what you think your going to get here going tout.

Since he is already advertising his service in this thread should it be in the site promotions?

Is it only a matter of time before someone starts a thread 'Kojak Loves You Plays'? ;)

Thanks for all your past work, Kojak. I wish you all the best in the future.

I've always enjoyed Kojak's plays and he's solid as they come, but reading this brings up a good point. I always respect those that track their record and profit/loss.

I am not a moderator - nor do I know anything about the unpleasantness Kojak has had with other posters. I don't think I have correspondend with Kojak beyond "good luck, I like the play" and such....

I truly hope that no one makes a point to needlessly argue on a site like this -- what is the point?

I have to ask though: does this post belong in this forum? It seems to me it is an announcement that he will start giving out some free picks and other he will charge for. Is this the appropriate forum for that kind of announcement? As I said, I am not a moderator. But I just feel odd clicking on a thread and seeing an anncouncement that announces someone will be charging for picks.

I think paying for picks is not a particularly great approach to capping or betting, but to each his own. But I thought there was a clear line between these kind of posts and the posts on this forum, which doesn't allow touts to make announcements.

I say this with all due to respect to Kojak -- who has more friends on here than I will ever have, I am sure -- and do not mean to get confrontational. If an exception is made in this case, or what-not, or if I am misunderstanding what kind of tout posts are allowed, I apologize.

Good luck to all.
