I disagree. As a poster in Forumville, I'd like to know my options. I post at 3 different forums, including this one, obviously. Each one is a little different and brings something different to the table.
I would bet that 90% of the posters here have no issues whatsoever with me making a thread referencing another forum and even posting a link. Only the die hard loyals, the mods, and the people who pay your bills would care.

I think you may be missing my obvious point but it's not important enough to me to explain it to you.
In any event being meaningful in life outside the forum means a little more to me than being meaningless to you inside your world.
