Im not getting where your coming from King. The clips you showed were cut but i dont see where what was cut was anything of substance. In fact on the gore clip the part they cut was him dodging the question, her question was about him profitting AFTER the bill is passed his answer was about not profitting BEFORE the bill is passed. He never does answer the question. Which shows he is a professional because UNLIKE the Obama clip where the part they cut out actually is of him LIEING THRU HIS TEETH about what he will do with earmarks once he is elected. Gore would have dodged the question, Obama is to stupid without Rahm behind the teleprompter.
Then about the cheerleading of news casts. Or you saying that anyone who hates MSNBC loves Fox and vice -versa? Cus thats not what im seeing at all. 1 tells outright lies and is paid to distribute propaganda (proven fact) and the other is a big ? ...as you may have read i posted last week that Fox could also be on the side of the Elites as i believe what they do talk about is only to keep their listeners on topics that have no meaning or are not the real problem. For instance now they are the biggest defenders of people disrupting the townhall meetings instead of reporting the facts...that the protesters are paid DEMOCRATS...
Seriously i dont get where your coming from...
I don't watch MSNBC, I watch Fox sometimes just because it's available. The only point I was trying to make was that I find it ludicrous that someone will bash MSNBC while holding Fox News in high regard and visa versa. Both channels are not shy pushing their political agendas.
I come from a Public Relations background and one of the first things we learn is "if it Bleeds it Leads" so unfortunitely we have gone far beyond the point of having news broadcasts that just give us the news without opinion.
It all comes down to News for Profit, I'm sure you're old enough to remember when news was a loss leader for TV Stations. But the television writers strike back in 88 gave birth to the news magazines like 20/20 and the rest. Soon after the Iraq war 1 and the OJ Simpson trials showed sensational news could be highly profitable.
