He should play Bojangles in the next Shirley Temple remake

If the 2020 election were held next week - Trump would win more states than before - 25% plus of the left are not normal and they INSIST upon shoving their agenda down your throat - rainbow colors for the white house, tranny nation, ows, blm, now the statue shit, etc.

Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.

Word is that the true story goes more like this: after the incidents in Charlottesville, ESPN contacted Lee about possibly switching games in order to avoid the inevitable field day social media would have with an Asian guy named a Robert Lee calling a Virginia game. Both sides agreed it was for the best. Then, someone leaked the info early to create the shitstorm that we have before us. Take this info for what you will.

If true, how does this change anything at all?

ESPN initiated a stupid discussion to begin with.

Apparently, the decision to pull Lee from the broadcast was never supposed to hit the public - so then we'd never know about it to begin with. Both sides were worried about him becoming an internet meme, and were trying to avoid the embarrassment.

But that's why they suck. They have plenty of conservatives on staff at ESPN that feed Clay Travis information. They are dumb for thinking this wouldn't get out if that's what happened.

Not disagreeing with you there, just saying that it may not be entirely true that they pulled him solely because they thought his name would offend viewers.

I think we're talking semantics here. They pulled him because his name is Robert Lee. There's no other reason for ESPN to even discuss the topic.

Its not like his name was Hitler... Maybe viewers who are offended can just refer (in their own mind) to him as Bobby.

I think you're just not reading my posts, or taking them out of context. ESPN didn't "pull" anyone - both sides mutually agreed to switch him out of that game.

No more talk.

Is it possible Mr. Lee could have been trying to get fired on purpose for the big pay day....? causing behind the scenes problems, showing up late, not sticking to the script, sexually harassing co workers, becoming Ron Burgundy? I have no idea who this Asian Robert Lee guy is or what the story is, I am just thinking of a wild scenario :grandmais

ESPN is the employer and Bruce Lee is the employee. They initiated the conversation not him.

They agreed to move him with or without his approval.

Exactly.. actually said basically the same thing to my wife yesterday. Trump will win in the electoral perhaps even bigger if election held tomorrow. They see shit like the thread topic or the statues coming down and the dishonest media and the lunatic left protesters and the left agenda shoved down their throats and they average Joe says screw you I'll vote for trump. The more of this type of craziness better chance trump wins.

What's funny is if they just would've kept Lee on the game, there may have been a few jokes here and there but the funniness would've went away in about an hour or so. Now it's a national and international news story.

The people that make these dumb decisions at ESPN are just unintelligent.

Lol what are you talking about? Was that meant to be an insult? Do better, big guy. I simply presented a second side to the story. Sounds like you're the one who still believes in the Tooth Fairy because mommy said it's true.

ESPN is the most powerful sports network in the world. Robert Lee probably makes about 65K. You think they mutually agreed for him to move to a different game? What would you do if you were him and they approached you about moving because of your name?
