watched just the 2nd half. wish Mutu sunk that PK and sent the italians packing. Romania is much more deserving to advance from the group than Italy is imo. Hopefully Dutch take care of business vs France and we see a relaxed, worry-free Oranje that helps see Romania through.

thanks, Holland cashes the TT with ease. Sneijder with 2 goals, lol maybe he can get some PKS and free kicks along the way and have a shot to be top GS? VB wouldnt be able to forgive himself if Ruud or Sneijder picked up a serious knock ahead of the knockout stages. theyve already experienced the spontaneous injury bug with Babel.

then again, if the regular XI play, with no motivation at all, no reason to doubt Romania's chancse of taking the 3pts anyhow

you're absolutely right, I am sure they will rest some guys. Certainly anyone on a card (ooijer and di jong) and probably at least RVN, RVDV and Sneijder. At least their bench is guys like RVP, Robben and Huntelaar and they are an attack minded team.

fortunate, but nothing less than Spain deserved. Should have had the PK at the end of the first. Probably see Guiza in the next game, especially if they are already through. Otherwise, won't see him as long as Villa is pumping in goals. Torres is a guaranteed start and you can't bench a guy with 4 from 2.

thanks, fortunate indeed but like you said, deserved....and yeah i was just thinking to myself, if Greece doesn't beat Russia than the next game will probably feature bunch of reserves, including D Guiza. But if Greece does win then they still have the outside shot of topping Spain, and the group....as much of a longshot that is lol
