Roma, who are without the suspended Daniele De Rossi and Christian Panucci while forwards Francesco Totti and Vincenzo Montella have not travelled because of family bereavement and flu respectively. Also absent, as Roma bid to keep their slim UEFA Cup hopes alive, will be the injured Mancini, Philippe Mexes and Christian Chivu.
ii) Roma's lack of motivation, they are effectively already out and the Italian sides don't take UEFA Cup seriously.
iii) 'must win' situation for Dinamo Kiev, who are traditionally very strong at home and have the added advantage of an intemperate climate at this time of year (let's face it the Italian's won't fancy going there one bit)
