can you explain this chart and how to use it? I dont understand what it is showing and what the links are? is it currrent prices? what units? line movements? Please explain looks interesting.

No you are correct here is the line from my odds comparison software. The Pinnacle line is at the bottom and can be seen having steamed out to 1.57 (i.e. -175 or 4/7).

The line is steaming at other books such as Mansion and Pointbet suggesting it is not just Rx. money moving the line. Looks like Mr.Sharp has done it again and identified some great value which has been snapped up. Thanks again Mr.Sharp!!

This is odd. On the moneyline at WWTS, the line is:


1018 AUXERRE +170
1019 AZ ALKMAAR +140
1020 DRAW +220

Based on this information, the game looks like it is going to likely be a tie.

Since lower over/unders have a higher probability of a draw, wouldn't it make sense for the line for a draw in such a case be lower? The higher a probability for something to happen the lower the book wants to pay out.

I've seen lines for the draw to be the same between matches that have different over/under lines. Maybe something to look at.

The h/a refers to which team is home and away. All the odds listed are for asian handicaps on the AZ Alkmaar/Auxurre match.

The first column is the DECIMAL price for AZ Alkmaar. The second column is the decimal odds for Auxerre. The third column is asian handicap applied to that match by the bookmaker listed. e.g. Easybets has the match at +0.00/-0.50 wheras Pinnacle and most of the others had the match at 0.00 handicap (i.e. bet is a push in the event of a tie)

A number in blue is a falling price and a number in red is a drifting price. Therefore it can be seen that Pinnacle had increased the odds on Auxerre alot as their line of 1.57 (-175) and 2.33 (+133). Presumably this is due to the money coming in on AZ Alkmaar.

I am looking forward to these matches today. Mr.Sharp has again identified great value in these plays IMO.

No unfortunately I am not clever enough to write programmes like this myself. I did attempt it but it was very difficult and the bookies kept changing the layout of their sites making the programmes not work.

Mr.Sharp is an excellent handicapper in soccer, especially some of the lower and less popular leagues. Following his plays over a long period of time will earn you some extra coin.

As to his true identity your guess is as good as mine. He is a shadowy figure who is only known as "Mr.Sharp" and communicates his picks to the forum via MadCapper, presumably to avoid detection.

A pick from Mr.Sharp can be bad news for bookies and a line can often be seen steaming shortly after a play is released by Mr.Sharp. The main thing is that he keeps picking winners and advises this forum of his picks for no charge which is pretty generous IMO.

I was just making a general statement about draw prices, if one team is a heavy favorite then the Draw will payout higher regardless of the over under. But if you take a look at most competitive matches over/unders of 2 to 2.5 are all around +190-+220 for the Draw, over/unders of 2.5-3 are around +300 for the draw some a lot higher.
