Stones in a league of their own with that. I watched a bit of a concert from like 2016 recently. Good God. It was so bad.

And they were touring again in 2020? I can't imagine how bad it is now. But they packed every stadium...
If it was from an iphone on youtube i wouldn't judge from that.

Nope. Watched it on the TV. Some channel back when I had Sling. Whatever channel it was always had on concerts from different bands.

Bingo. Don't give 2 fucks what some musician, actor, or athlete has to say about politics.

STFU and entertain.

Seems a reasonable constraint until we see one (or more) like Lady Gaga & friends this week collaborate efforts to quickly raise tens of millions of dollars for charitable direction

Not sure what your point is. Entertainers can raise money for charities without spewing their political agenda. It's possible.

So maybe just add this to my post you quoted:

Bingo. Don't give 2 fucks what some musician, actor, or athlete has to say about politics.

STFU, raise that money, and entertain.

I saw em' in 2019. Awesome show. If you're in a stadium with giant screens and 80,000 watts and the greatest songs/frontman of all time a lot of the nuances can be glossed over.

I can't help but think the opinion of someone with the username mickj might be a little biased in the direction of defending the Stones' performance.

I mean for guys in their mid to late 70's, I suppose they do a good job. If you put it in that context.

The show I saw, they weren't very tight and overall the songs seemed to drag.

They played better on 19' Tour. It was Mick's first shows after heart surgery so they had something to prove.
