You mustve gone to a different Players, cause this one is relatively new. It's right next to the Family Fun Center. It is the best sports bar. They have every single solitarty game on. That's where the majority of alumni clubs go to watch games. Solid menu. Lots of space. Good atmosphere. Good prices. An overall good spot.

If it's in a strip center on the south side of Clairmont Mesa its gotta be the same one. Bar right in front of you as you walk in the door? It was never really a dump, but not nearly as nice as the place that used to be off of Nobel in La Jolla. We used to get tanked there then go hit off the fastest pitching machine at the FFC. They very well could have moved too, but that retail center is right next to the FFC.
You want to see a good alumni party...go down to moondoggies on a saturday when Ohio State has a big game...I think all of the good looking women in Ohio moved to Pacific Beach.
There is also a good little sports bar down in the gaslamp, my friend took me down there last year, I forget what it is called (maybe gaslamp pub?) It's a little small, but the placed is loaded with TV's.
We also used to like Saska's...people don't really go there to watch sports so the bartender would put on whatever game we wanted to watch. I don't even know if its there anymore.
Sports City Cafe in La Jolla was the best with my buddy bookin bets in the corner. The place downtown is called Whisky somethin. Does have a gazillion TVs.

Besides the fact that balance is good for this place and much of what I say is true (although unpopular). Anyone who still thinks Pete Carroll purposely kicked off both halves last night due to "strategy" is dead wrong. Imagine the heat an NFL coach would take for doing that, or a different college coach whose team ended up losing because of it

Sports City Cafe..that's it, they had mini-TV's at all the tables. Great spot, too bad they didn't put that place in mission valley or somewhere more central, it wasn't in a convenient location, in fact I still hate that shopping center.
I checked out the charger boards earlier...funny shit, but too many people drank the AJ kool aid. I've been calling this potential disaster since the end of last year. Norv Turner is a clown...so is Cotrell. AJ might as well go down there and coach the team himself.

There was nothing strategic about it. Bozo screwed up (or at least his team captains at midfield did). Imagine (espeically with the new kickoff rules spawning huge returns) if this had cost him the game. To me, it's a firable offense. Imagine an NFL coach doing this and not getting ripped for it. Seriously I worked in a bar that had a gay night...I think you should know by now that shit doesn't bother me. You'd be surprised how often you can pull some incredibly hot women. These Clubs have about 400 gay guys, 50 incredibly hot women who are sick of mouth breathers like yourself that just want to get away from the regular bar scene and about 10 straight guys who get it. Women get drunk want cock, 5 to 1 straight women to straight men...you're an economics major those are pretty good odds.
