I just can't imagine anyone really wanting Hillary in office. The ONLY reason Democrats would want her in is just to piss of the Republican's. Which backs up one of my points. The Liberals don't care what happens to the country as long as there is a Democrat in office, where the Republican's don't care what the Libs think, they are just trying to do what's best for the country.

Seriously though, after all of the topics on this board ripping Hillary, all of a sudden the Libs want her in office....WTF!

Talk about wishy washy.

Floyd, that would be true ONLY if the Pres were still seeking BJs from his wife. Call me crazy, but I don't see a whole lotta love between these two.

lander - Can you provide some facts with that or is that just another opinion?

There were numerous incidents of police brutality against minorities while Gulliani served as mayor of NYC. Gulliani always supported the police over the NYC citizens.

I actually admired some of his efforts (which ultra-libs hated) like increased cameras in public areas.

Still, the guy isn't exactly a humanitarian ... while he was good for cleaning up NY - it isn't in the interest of the world to have another unqualified elistist with Federal powers.

He was a fine mayor, but I wouldn't vote for him in any role that increased his power. Remember, the ONLY reason he is so popular is because he did his job during 9/11. Well, 99% of people would have done their jobs too.

Lander - So anyone who supports the police after an alleged police brutality case is a racist? Even if the perp is cussing at the officers and resisting arrest huh?

I will never understand how people can think this way.

an alleged police brutality

No, what I said was "SEVERAL" incidents of police brutality.

You're right, you will NEVER understand how people like me think because you're incapable of reading and comprehending a simple post ...

you can't even understand clear and concise posts written by others, so how on Earth do you expect to achieve free thinking for yourself? Don't give yourself a headache; the answer is simple - you cannot.

Lander - OK, so there were allegedly several cases of police brutality.....

The fact is that you think Gulliani is a racist because of these "SEVERAL" instances.....Have you met the man? Do you know if he has any friends that are of the same race as the race of the SEVERAL alleged attacks?

That's pretty shallow to judge a man that you have never even spoken with because his stands behind his police department.

KMan,
There were not just "alleged" cases .. there were many cases that were proved to thave occured.

Look, while you like the fact that Guilliani smiles when he shakes Joe Torre's hand on FOX's game of the week I actually live down here. I think he is a fine mayor - always have, but I certainly wouldn't want him to have federal powers.

A man that supports police brutality cannot be trusted with the worlds most dangerous army near his disposal - just look what that idiot war-evading genocidal Bush did when he stole power

lander, how can a mayor that 'supports police brutality' also be a 'fine mayor'? Maybe he did some other good things but isn't that a pretty serious charge?

Crime decreased significantly under Guilliani's watch. Less crime equates to safer streets which equates to increased economy and tourism.
That is admirable.

Police brutality is not admirable.

Patriot,

I agree, she is a figment. I have talked to men and women, dems and cons, and no one even gives the slightest care about her. She seems very irrevelant.

I see a better chance of John Edwards being VP. The reasons are that he is
1. He is from the South
2. Number 2 on the candidates aheard of Dean.
3. Hasn't made any negative candidates against Dean.
4. Appeals to the comman man. Not like Kerry whom appears like the New England aristocrat.

Police brutality is an overused term. If someone resists arrest then they should get tuned up. A broomstick up the ass was wrong, and the officers were punished. If you've never worn a badge and had people spit on you, bite you and try to harm you while you're doing your job then you're not qualified to make that judgement on what is or isn't police brutality. Are all cops qualified to be cops? No.... but the majority are and some people need an attitude adjustment.

Unfortunately, I discovered today that she wouldn't have to give up her Senate seat to run for VP as I had previously thought. What a shame, I thought there was a way out from the daily embrassment.
