Attractiveness is directly linked with genetic health. This makes sense since nature has made it so that we are sexually attracted to genetically healthier people.
Inbreeding leads to a shallow genetic pool and thus leads to uglier people. The opposite is also true, that a diverse genetic pool leads to healthier genetic people since those people with more diverse genes are less likely to be affected by genetic abnormalities and are more resistant to genetic diseases.
These are very good yet obvious points. What I have troubles understanding is why blondes are attractive while blond hair is a recessive factor.
I've wondered this too Data. In fact, white skin is a part of the genetics with hair that is recessive. My friend that studied genetics told me that white skin/light hair is recessive because people with darker skin/hair are more able to adapt to more environments.
People with darker skin/hair could easily live in northern climates with little sun as well as in equatorial climates with lots of sun. Yet people with lighter skin/hair cannot live in equatorial climates as easily. Sun burn and skin cancer are problems for these people.
Darker skin, compared to lighter skin, is smoother. The reason is that the rougher light skin traps air that serves as an insulator for colder northern climates. In warmer, southern climates this attribute is not needed.
Maybe the majority, but for many dark or a nice red is more attractive.
Interesting about the lighter skin being smoother, but that doesn't explain why asians have such smooth skin, considering most of them are fair-skinned.

long black or highlighted hair
blue jeans and dark shirts (cant dress for shit)
slanted eyes
Smokes, drinks..etc
And yes, I'm asian. There are some pretty ones out there but cant see myself dating asian girls.
