For long articles that are poorly spaced I have 2 suggestions for you.

What I'll do is read the article and post its main points in a paragraph or two, and link to the rest.

Or, if you think the entire piece is a must read, open 'Notepad' from your 'Start Menu' and paste the article in there.

At the end of each place where you think a new paragraph begins hit the 'Enter' bar twice.

When done paste it in here and it should be easier to read.

You already know hardly anyone is going to read an entire essay in here with no paragraphs.

Watch how much easier even this short post is to read by me just hitting 'Enter' twice after each sentence.

If I recall, back at that time weren't people also saying that Al Qaeda and Iraq were partners. I definitely could be wrong but they were associated as working hand in hand by some people.

nobody said Saddam participated in 9/11, which is often times the accusation made

but what Saddam did do

financed terrorism
rewarded terrorism
encouraged terrorism
provided a safe haven for terrorists
provided medical attention to terrorists
had WMD (at one point in time anyhow)
desired WMD
used WMD
killed 300,000 to 1,000,000 people
invaded neighboring countries
and failed to comply with one UN Resolution followed by another

some close to him have said he actually believed he had WMD, others have said he didn't want anyone to know he didn't

Did he not also send a hit squad to the U.S. to kill Bush Sr.?

That alone is an act of war.

It wasn't the fact they necessarily went in based on faulty information, it was the fact they wouldn't admit or acknowledge that and proceed to pull us out. The story changed so much as their reasons faltered. Eventually we were there to build a democracy, lol. No wmds, al Qaeda, no real links to 9/11, just a philanthropic effort to help the Iraqis. Many people started realizing that Iraq was nothing, and we were accomplishing nothing by being there. 10 years and absolutely nothing accomplished. Actually created a more dangerous Iraq.

Man it is amazing how clueless you Repugs are,but then again what do you expect from those who live in a bubble, and who gets
their info from the FAUX (news???) channel.:ohno:

Yep they were reporting what this Iraqi con-man named "CURVEBALL" was feeding them to get residency in Germany.

WATCH THE 60 MINUTES VIDEO AT THE END,AND LEARN SOMETHING NEW!!!

Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi (Arabic: رافد أحمد علوان‎, Rāfid Aḥmad Alwān; born 1968), known by the Defense Intelligence Agency cryptonym "Curveball",[SUP][1][/SUP] is an Iraqi citizen who defected from Iraq in 1999, claiming that he had worked as a chemical engineer at a plant that manufactured mobile biological weapon laboratories as part of an Iraqi weapons of mass destruction program.[SUP][2][/SUP] Alwan's allegations were subsequently shown to be false by the Iraq Survey Group's final report published in 2004.[SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP]
Despite warnings from the German Federal Intelligence Service and the British Secret Intelligence Service questioning the authenticity of the claims, the US Government and British government utilized them to build a rationale for military action in the lead up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, including in the 2003 State of the Union address, where President Bush said "we know that Iraq, in the late 1990s, had several mobile biological weapons labs", and Colin Powell's presentation to the UN Security Council, which contained a computer generated image of a mobile biological weapons laboratory.[SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][5][/SUP] They were later found to be mobile milk pasteurization and hydrogen generation trailers. On 24 September 2002, the British government published its dossier on the former Iraqi leader's WMD with a personal foreword by Mr Blair, who assured readers Saddam Hussein had continued to produce WMD "beyond doubt".[SUP][6][/SUP]
On November 4, 2007, 60 Minutes revealed Curveball's real identity.[SUP][7][/SUP] Former CIA official Tyler Drumheller summed up Curveball as "a guy trying to get his green card essentially, in Germany, and playing the system for what it was worth."[SUP][2][/SUP]
In a February 2011 interview with the Guardian he "admitted for the first time that he lied about his story, then watched in shock as it was used to justify the war."
