There have been two games Brady was on the field vs Buffalo with Moss as a target.
09/23/07 - Buffalo 7 - New England 38 (NE -16.5)
11/18/07 - New England 56 - Buffalo 10 (NE -16)
Don't waste time trying to convince yourself Buffalo has a chance here. Everybody likes to find reasons to pick that big dog, but sometimes common sense wins when handicapping the NFL.
I blew it today trying to convince myself Detroit's D would be better than last years.
I don't know a ton about the NFL. I watch a few games a week but don't get heavily involved. However one thing I do know is Buffalo is poor right now and New England has been very good in recent years. Dick Jauron is a dodgy coach who owns a horrendous record against teams 500 or better with Buffalo. Their QB seems to be...broken. He refuses to throw the ball down field and is the master of check downs. Almost quite unbelievably Trent didn't even take the field in the final pre season game despite the offense's horrid output throughout pre season. Owens did miss almost all the exhibition games but I really think Trent Edwards is the problem here. I find it very difficult to imagine him breaking out on this stage.
If New England are as good as the current Superbowl odds suggest this should be an embarrassing night for the Bills.
