I'm backing the Red Sox on Monday. This price feels like the linesmaker must be anticipating a letdown by the Boston Red Sox after their four-game sweep of the Yankees as Rick Porcello has been installed as a relatively small favorite over Dylan Bundy. Porcello is 20-4 and allowed a run and four hits in eight innings against Baltimore on Wednesday in a 1-0 Red Sox loss. The Orioles have a .192 team batting average versus Porcello this season and he has a 2.05 ERA so far in September. Meanwhile, Bundy escaped with a 6-3 win over the Sox on Tuesday while giving up three runs and six hits in 5 1/3 innings, but overall this season, the right-hander has allowed 10 runs and 25 hits in 15 innings against Boston. The Bears offensive line couldn’t block Gilbert Gottfried. That was evident in their loss to the Texans last week when Jay Cutler was sacked five times and pressured numerous others. Sure, the Eagles’ win over the awful Browns doesn’t register high on the scale but a win is a win and QB Carson Wentz appeared poised and confident in the victory. Philadelphia made a good hire in DC Jim Schwartz and with a strong defensive line to work with, Cutler and his Bears could be in for another long afternoon. Chicago has not performed well on their own field with just one cover here last year, including a 0-2 mark straight up and versus number both times favoured at Soldier Field.
