Finished opening week with a losing overall record but a pocket full of cash. Was just one mets win shy of adding another $2,600 to my bankroll. For those wondering why I play a lot of the same teams in my parlays and straight bets is simply because I'm that confident in the play. I've also taken a few teams almost every night just because I felt these teams would win their series or even sweep them out right. All plays have ranged from $50-200 (.5 to 2 units) This is honestly what I owe the most of my success to. Money management. This is such a long season and must be grinded out with patience and reasonable bets. We can't bust the books over night or in one game for that matter, however aiming for a goal of $500-2000 a week can make us another $30,000 a year if you focus on the finish line. Did I mention that was untaxed...if I ever go down $500 in a week that week is over and will wait until next week. I will never chase past my weekly limit. BOL and bring on week 2!
