I think that Bauer has been and is an average pitcher... Gonna put my money on Wacha who has been doing better. Although, I had my money on Oakland yesterday thinking that Oakland had the better pitching. Oakland should have won that game yesterday as they had more hits, just couldn't score with runners on plate. Last outing Oakland 11-0 against Boston...

opposite of yesterday, i bet ona terrible pitcher and struggling team on the road vs an ace and won on boston.......u took gray vs the same terrible pitcher and somehow lost
u took wacha today who pitched well but only 5 innings, made only one mistake to brantley and he exited trailing, 1-0. Bauer who u appraise to be average (correct thus far in his career) had one of his best games as a pro and struck out 10 batters thru 7.1 inn and yielded only the same 1 run that Wacha did.
before we discuss the result, lets just examine, Wacha inspired confidence in u as a bettor, 50/50 pick em and u said "ill take the better team and the better pitcher". U did what was right and ez, and it got u the money. This is how it should go.
However, u are fortunate to have bet, been basically wrong about a guy (bauer) and have gotten information, not only for free, but u got paid and got the info.......the only reason Im making this point is because i view this as very similar to a poker game. I never let someone muck their hand if they call me or they bet and I call.....I want all the info i can get to add to my sample size so i can make an informed decision next time
Like i said, maybe Bauer is a little better than u guess he may be today, u unlike me have the fortunate experience of being wrong and getting winning money anyway, dont waste the chance to learn something about tendencies and betting lines. Vegas knew Bauer is above average. Wacha will be Cris carpenter, Adam wainwright etc one day, hes almost there now. U got him as a pick em, vs a team with one of the worst record in league. Have to wonder why such a talented pitcher on best or 2nd best team in league was only -105, or -107 today
