Why the white Sox?

I have been calling the Mariners frauds for quite some time. Although they did not regress to the level I was hoping, winning 1 of their last 8 games may be a sign that they are finally falling off the cliff. I have stated in the past once their bullpen starts showing leaks, it can get ugly fast for this team, as their hitting can not compensate for a bad bullpen. Their bullpen is starting to get hit.

I have a bullish valuation on Smith, but he is no longer flying under the radar. I like backing the Floyd on the road. There is no fundamental reason for his high h/a splits nor past year patterns where road struggles may be predicitive. False compensation. Material hitting and bullpen disparity favoring the White Sox. I would not put it past the White Sox to make one last push for the division. They have the team to do it.

I have no problem betting on the Rays; but their pitching reserve leaves a lot to be desired. If Sonnanstine can go the distance, I'm in.
