The manufactured one is sometimes/probably most of the time better because the portion you put on the moneyline is often reduced vigorish. Plus you can line shop, that doesn't change that putting it all on the reduced vig number or best number is the right move over splitting them up.

I'm thinking I said something like that?

but whatever. Hopefully the original poster learned something and can save a cent or two.

take ML to win 100

take RL risking 100 (unless its -101 or higher then take it to win)

that's it, not that hard. (not trying to be a dick but this is very easy)....

Take the -1.5 to win the amount of the ML risk, that way if your team wins by 1, you push, just like you would on a manufactured -1

Your last sat sentence is incorrect with regards to a -1 line.

It works for me, but like Bourn mentioned, 5 dimes offers the -1 run lines, so I'll be good either way.
