It's not that simple. He'll be "worth" more dead than alive, like Elvis. His income stream will go on forever, without all the massive expenses he personally incurred.

His estate will be massively complicated.

The man was grasping to hold on to the last thead of fame that he could. It's all he's known his entire life.

Personally I think his body was running on fumes and whatever he was doing to keep his motor running finally blew the gasket.
