Dobbs? Really? Didn't anyone watch the Bama game? They had like 20 total yards. A first round pick? Wow, wtf.

There's no bigger UNC football fan than me I promise you, but I'd be very wary of using a 1st round pick on Mitch. I think he has it in him to be great, but he's still unproven like Enfuego said. He did play poorly his last 3 games. That was partly due to a banged up OL and losing our field-stretching WR (Mack Hollins). I also think the hype got in his head and he pressed. That being said, the NFL is the big-boy league and he has to handle adversity/pressure in order to make it.

He could have really used another year as a college starter but most of his weapons graduated, and it's going to be a rough year in '17 for my Heels. I don't think his stock would have improved had he returned with a weak/young supporting cast, so from a business perspective he made the right call. I hope he does great.

Fantastic Post. Really Great Thread.

Is there an o/u on draft spot? Think most likely he goes top 3. Kizer is 2nd qb off the board. Like Mahomes but he comes with the biggest question marks. Fundamentally he is a mess. Davis Webb may end up the best qb in this class.

Kid will be a bust so it is only fitting he ends up on a bad team like Browns or Jets.

Obviously would kill to have Mahomes instead, but I do like the way Trubisky progressed in year 2.
Next year should tell the tale.

The quality of weapons Mahomes has at his disposal vs what Trubisky has is night and day. I know I'm biased, but the difference between the two QB's isn't as great as it may seem. It would be interesting to see how things would be if the supporting casts were switched.

Eh. Mahomes had guys injured all year.

Trubisky has two great running backs, very good wrs, and a beast TE

Also mahomes has the worst D in football whole Trubisky has one of the best

And for the record I like Trubisky. Like his mobility and think he developed nicely this year. Just dont downplay his weapons.

I wouldn't call Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen great running backs.

And that's fine but they aren't great running backs. Todd Gurley is a great running back.

You're arguing semantics man. Didnt say they future hall of Famers.

Howard/Cohen are better than Damien Williams (I think that's his name)

Cohen is a better receiver than him but overall it is pretty negligible.

Hill/Kelce >>>>>> the rest of the Bears guys

hence why Alex Smith was an MVP candidate the first 1/2 of last season
