Good luck , I wish these guys were from cal tech or stanford if they are math whizzes, if they were from stanford they would end up starting a company and making millions with their software.LOL

But this should be interesting.

good luck this year

and i'm guessing a lot of the data this MIT guy is using is from last year? hard to use last year's stats with this year's teams i would think

Gavin, listen, you're gonna come across some true idiots and assholes on this board or any other board you go to. I want you to know that there's a lot of us that appreciate you going to the trouble to talk with your buddies, and then take the time to post the plays on here. Don't let assholes get in your way. I for one truly appreciate it, and I can't wait to be able to put the plays you post up against some of the other "professional cappers" that supposively use in-depth #'s and statistics to come up with their best bets.

FYI...these plays look DAMNED good, especially for week 1. Let's make some money bud. Thanks again for your work.

+1.

No matter how good, bad or indifferent this is going to work out, you will get a ton of negative no matter what happens.

You've been very upfront with us and kept the dialog going all along ~ many of us appreciate it but don't say it or post it.

Just look at it this way - if the plays are constantly loosers, we just go opposite the plays and win (fade). Worst thing that can happen to us is going 50% ~ and then we only loose the vig.

Do yourself a favor and do a search for Billy Walters. I think there may have been a thread here posted on him a while ago. His crew was the original computer programmers that hammered vegas and just about every book out there.

What your boys are doing has been done and can most likely be done again ~ it's just a matter of finding the right data.

Good luck this season - i'll be following your progress and hope we can all make some cash.

yea...maybe a guy in some school loan debt like me caught a break and got a nice hook up for some picks throughout the season, its strictly college football, i guess its a larger sample size...i talk to him alot on aim so the communication is always there but its really only supposed to be for my benefit and the success of the project i guess....who knows...maybe they will fail and end up at ITT tech.

I think I am going to play the top 4 plays on a 4 team parlay.

Minn -6.5 is looking really good.

Keep posting and I really like the %.

Thx

I didnt read the entire thread so forgive me if this has already been stated.

since this has been tested for previous years, is there a week by week breakdown for the picks? does it start of slow and gain steam thru the season with more stats?

or does it tail off at the end of the year as the lines get tighter?

they have years and years of statistical data and trends like other sites etc but they are testing a ton more variables and possibilities and I think they will be more effective...i mean they go to mit and its being funded by the university so each week they will continuously update the progam and test the lines when they come out....so its a running program i guess
