Last week playing on Buffalo was a winner
1-4-0 last week
The record went to 18-12-1

This week the system had a winner Thursday night( I posted the pick one minute before game time...not very playable obviously, I screwed up on the late post but wanted to keep the system clean for future reference)

So getting the record up to date and current, Thursday nights Fade of Atlanta was a winner and the record is now 19-12-1 61% ATS

This weeks picks are going up soon.

Most of your loses last week had bad situations
You may want to consider that intead of just going with fade or play
Steelers back up QB
Arizona back up QB
Redskins big home dog off a bye
Anyway....maybe a tweek can make the sauce even more sweet
Just a thought
19-12 is very good either way

Thanks for the comments...I understand what you are saying but it's very tricky to discern exactly what is a "bad situation" ...and then it stops being a system and gets back into regular subjective handicapping...so to speak.

I may want to rule out games without the regular starting QB however...when in fact the system depends on the talents of the starting QB to be the system pick in the first place. I do think that makes sense and may in fact avoid some losses.

Thanks again for the input.

I'm not completely in favor as you've alluded to...since we see exactly what Vegas does when such a QB/Star is out...line changes 1/2 to 1 point max...longer term maybe lines adjusted but I've seen it too many times that when 'Star' out, team/player steps up and in and collectively play to par or better...BOL and continued success...

I think it is different when you are a favorite and a significant one as both Arizona and Pitt were though
Judgement call I suppose

This is a system in progress. I had an idea formulated from over 15 years experience in handicapping... and now I am trying to perfect it as much as possible without ruining the original idea.
The beauty of this , is that this particular system is transferable (in my opinion) to almost any other sport.
It's the culmination of a LOT of experimentation and work over the years. Many of you know me from way back...I've been here off an on for over 15 years and there is nothing I wouldn't try if I had a creative idea to handicap a sport. (I could tell some stories...for sure. It's amazing how many of my crazy ideas worked...but sometimes it's soooo labor intensive)

Anyway, this is evolving into my final handicapping system for all sports...the work done here applies across the board, and being retired now...represents something I would enjoy doing in the future as my hobby ...so to speak. It's less data intensive compared to what I used to do...more fun for me. ;-)

The NFL looks pretty good...College Football will come around I think.
NBA and NCAAB are next. MLB...I dunno...maybe just take the summer off or do something very very basic.

*MisterMJ NFL Special Sauce
Fade Houston Play on Tennessee 1pm ET
Fade Detroit Play on Cleveland 1pm ET
Play on Dallas 4:25pm ET
Overall Record 19-12-1 61% ATS

*I use the closing line at Covers to determine ATS wins and losses because that's how I do it. Nothing is perfect, but generally it works best for me and is maybe more fair and honest as well to people playing along.
Line cheating isn't a real system...if this isn't real and available for people to play along...what is the point?
