I'm dropping $3500 on the Jays tonight. The pressure is on and this is the second time they see Wakefield in the last 10 days.

Wakefield at Rogers Center

18 career starts, 6-4 record, 4.33 ERA, 1.46 WHIP

Wakefield on the road (this season)

5 starts, 2-2 record, 4.83 ERA, 1.42 WHIP

Clearly the place to fade Wakefield is here, on the road and against a team hungry to get back into it. Jays are only 2.0 back of the AL East lead.

Bank it.

I think I want my money back!

Why not at home, against a team they 'need' to beat. Expect some big time hits for the Jays tonight.

So Wakefield will be the fall guy tonight. He has given up 13 runs his last 3 games

It's a gorgeous day in Toronto and the roof is closed on the Rogers Centre. There is a reason for that. Roof closed = juicy knuckleball with no wind. The Jays are hitters are going to crush that ball tonight.

Nice hit on the Cubs man. I hit the no score in 1st in that game. Should have tailed your Cubs play also. Good luck on Toronto. That takes guts.

Jays should win cause I've bet on them their last 3 losses and have the red sox today, so jays are a lock.

I don't claim to know much about knucklers but I found this FWIW:

"Tim Wakefield of the Boston Red Sox has been the best knuckleballer in baseball for years. His record in domed stadiums is substantially better than it is in open-air facilities. "Knucklebook" author Dave Clark says a dome helps a knuckleballer keep his pitches in the strike zone.
"What you've got is something very unique indoors" says Clark. "You've got consistent air flow. It's exactly the same all the time and cutting out one variable in what you're trying to do out there on the mound is certainly going to be a big help."
