Ended up 9-8 on the season-

stanford burned me and I lost by .5 on the army game. Overall though most of my predictions outside of Stanford and alabamas defense letting me down lol.

heres what I learned from week 3:

clemson is better than Alabama right now and clearly the number one team in the country because of their defense and the man in charge of that defense.

lsu is still overrated as per the norm since Saban left.

alabama is still Alabama but they find their identity later in the season, every season.

purdue is pretty damn good out of nowhere and will give many big 10 teams absolute fits.

nebraska is in trouble.

oregon state is one of the worst defenses in the country.

wazoo is better than Washington in my opinion.

stanford is in trouble because their qbs are not that good.

usc isn't as explosive as everyone thinks.

Oklahoma state vs Oklahoma will be the best regular season game all year.

penn state or Wisconsin look like the best teams in the big 10.

Week 4 early picks: 9-8 ATS

oregon -16.5: I think Oregon is improving each week, defensively that is.... offensively they are strong. Asu got torched by Texas tech and they are bad. I expect this to be very similar to Oregon first 3 games; ducks will score 30+ first half points and roll on to win 52-27.

Syracuse +23.5: a home dog catching 3TDs?!?! I know the talent discrepencay but lsu is still awful offensively and Syracuse has a stellar offense with a good QB. This will be a high scoring affair. I could honestly see Syracuse winning as a live dog, but 23.5 is obviously the safer play lol. 37-31 lsu wins

Purdue +8.5: Michigan is far superior defensively but the X factor here is speight for michigan..... and I mean that in a bad way... he's awful. Purdue is another live dog at home looking to shock the world with a 4-0 start. I think Michigan barely wins but I could see an upset. Wolverines 16-13

Rutgers +14: I'm confused here because Nebraska is awful and tanner Lee is as good as speight.... rutgers Looked good against Washington and Nebraska is on the verge of a collapse.

colorado+10: most people will be on Washington because they think they're a playoff team, but I'm not because I just don't think the huskies are as good as advertised. I'm standing by my prediction that wazoo wins the PAC 12 north and likely the conference title, so I think this is washigntons first big test and potential slip up. The buffs will keep this game close and it should be extremely physical.

10-11 ats....

uggghhhhh... this season is all over the map. The ducks showed their true colors losing to a below average asu team, because, well, they're only average at best, lol.... why you aren't feeding Royce freeman the rock is beyond me. Royce freeman only had 15 carries this week when he came into the game leading the country in rushing touchdowns??? Mind numbing stupidity.. It's a building process.

i stand behind my Colorado and Purdue bets; Washington finally showed up and looked like a PAC 12 champ, but still tests to come in remaining weeks. Purdue likely covers or even wins if Wilton speight doesn't get hurt lol. Best thing for Michigan was him getting hurt and changing qbs lol. Oh well. I'll catch a run here soon gentleman.

Heres what I saw-

usc is not that good.
penn state is tough
ok state folded at home in their first true test lol. That offense is good but their defense is not.
Bama looks like they're picking up steam.
florida state is done.
texas a&m is surprisingly turning things around.

the heisman conversation should consist of baker mayfield, Luke falk, saquon Barkley, penny the RB from SDSU, and Bryce love.
on to week 5

10-11 ATS so far,

Week 5 Picks for what its worth---

wazzo +4: this game is at home and the cougars are very good in that weird area that is Pullman Washington. Luke falk is outstanding and that offense is firing on all cylinders. This will be a Friday night game on national tv. Wazoo doesn't get many of these, and with a defense that has gotten better every year over the last 2-3 seasons and one of the best QBs and passing attacks in the country I like wazoo to win outright. But catching more than a fg is always a bonus at home. I think USC may get exposed here, just sayin

Minnesota -13: they've bought in under pj and the defense is very physical and stingy. I expect the gophers to win a weird but mainly one sided game by something like 27-10.

Vandy @ Florida under 41: no offense, period.... this could be a battle of kickers and punters.

Usf -23.5: ECU DOESNT DO ANYTHING RIGHT. The total is at 73, that should tell you something about how much should be scored. I like usf by 5 tds

Washington -27: Oregon state is one of the worst defenses in the country.... should be ugly.

Va tech +7.5: they're good, and at home. Very physical game

cal +13.5: they may beat Oregon outright, they're playing good defense for the first time in 20 years lol, and Oregon is still rebuilding. They at least keep it close.

Adding Colorado +7.5: I think this boils down more to who plays defense and I think the buffs have the edge there. Wouldn't shock me to see the buffs win outright, but once again, catching more than a td is great. Probably a good game and I expect something like a 37-31 game

14-15 ats:

im basically sucking ass the first half of the season. But I just got to Hawaii on vacation so I don't have much for writeups due to time.

Only plays ats I have are

wvu +13: I think tcu is playing well but wvu should test them.

Wazoo -3: I'd love to see the ducks pull off an upset here but Luke falk should torch the defense and Oregon is in scramble mode for a QB. The RB by committee will work fine for Oregon but wazoo is much improved defensively. Oregon will need to lean on the run and force a turnover or two in order to steal a win with a freshman QB. I like wazoo by 17 but hope the ducks win

had a good week 6 even though it was only two games. Here's what I got for week 7.

byu +24: I think miss state is a coin flip team and mainly of the pretender version. They are all over the map, one week looking great, the next getting lit up. Byu is consistently average sometimes above average but you know what you're getting each time out. I don't care about injuries or anything like that in this matchup, it's all about who is the more consistent team. I think the cougs have a real shot at keeping this under 10.

Duke +7.5: this feels like a sucker bet because fsu is so talented defensively, but they are on the wrong side of momentum here and the frustration has set in I believe. Duke is extremely disciplined team and I just sense that this is a big year for them. I like duke to win this game at home. Most people look at fsu and see the talent discrepencacy but I see a very underrated and physical duke team. I like their chances here at home.

Boston college +22: this all comes down to bc playing defensive minded football and Louisville being very poor defensively. Louisville is. It not that good, they just have one guy who keeps them in the national spotlight. BC keeps it close

oklahona/Texas over 65: big game, bigger game for Oklahoma.... I think mayfield pushes the pace and texas matches, points should come in bunches here regardless of Texas being tough defensively. Big statement game and a bounce back for Oklahoma

ohio state -24.5: they figured it out and Riley is almost gone from Nebraska. The cornhuskers are very bad his year. Could be real ugly but I'll say 41-13

stanford -10.5: Oregon is More physical this season but they have zero chance of containing Bryce love. Stanford is starting to fire on all cylinders with their run game. Biggest factor here is Oregon can't move the ball. The young QB is learning and the offensive line is not great run blockers but will be next year. Stanford always plays Oregon well, this will probably be low scoring which might be surprising but Stanford will handle this game thru the entirety. Stanford win s comfortably 30-10

20-17ats

week 8:

ucla -6.5: listen I don’t like UCLA, but Oregon can not score at all and can only run the football, it’s awful, really bad lol. I could see an extremely ugly game that UCLA wins 20-10 or whatever. Point is, Oregon loses because burmeister just doesn’t know the playbook yet and Oregon is handcuffed from a playcalling perspective.

michigan/penn state under 45: this will be very physical, I’ll take the under but I’m sure they’ll forget how to play defense and score 45 first half points lol

wvu-9.5: Baylor competes but they shouldn’t for both halves against a superior wvu team. Should be cut and dry

FSU -7: Louisville is awful defensively and FSU has playmakers all over the defensive side of the ball.

Rough week... 21-20 ats

oregon +3.5: I’m not confident in this play but realistically, both Utah and Oregon are drastically underperforming this season. Utah just got stomped last week and couldn’t do much of anything right. Oregon really can’t either, but the freshman qb now has a few games under his belt and the playbook will start to open up a little more. Royce freeman is looking great and I have a strong feeling he wants as many touches as possible on his way out of this horrid season as a consolation prize. They will lean on freeman a lot and they should, but both teams will pound the rock and that makes for tight games. Utah has the better defense, but Oregon has Home field advantage and they need to turn this around for bowl eligibility soon before it’s too late. I like Oregon to win or lose by a Fg in a tight game but a turn around game for the ducks.

Wazoo -3: I know Arizona is hot right now, but wazoo just shut out Colorado and like I said, their defense gets no love. Their front 7 are very active and rush the passer as well as anyone in the pac 12. I think wazoo surprises some people here and they win confidently 41-24

Asu +3: talk about a team playing out of their mind right now.... asu looks good for whatever reason and they get usc at home and a struggling darnold who is turnover prone with blitz happy Todd graham... usc is more talented, sure, but no one is playing with as much confidence as the sun devils. A lot of people look at this as a bounce back game for the Trojans and I just honk they are supremely overrated and clay helton is not the guy to win you a championship. I think asu beats usc by two tds.

stanford -23: Oregon state may be playing better, and they get stanford at home, but no one hasn’t stopped Bryce love so far and the beavers defense is extremely porous. I don’t like taking a big spread like this with a team on the road, but I think stanford has a name your score type of game here. It all depends on the first half and how their defense plays because love will get his touches, yards and score a lot. I think they win and cover fairly comfortably. 44-16

ark state -5.5: this team is clowning with people right now and their offense is clicking, which is what they do best. They may be on the road, but I think they win by two scores. Justice Hansen is pretty damn good
