Brad Keselowski showed his dominance by sweeping both races at New Hampshire Speedway over the weekend. With the win on Sunday, Keselowski is showing he is a driver to look for in the Chase. Jeff Gordon won a NASCAR record fifth Brickyard 400 on Sunday. Gordon has run steady this year and has led the Sprint Cup Series standing's for 13 of the past 14 weeks. Kyle Busch finished second 2.325 seconds behind Gordon, and was followed by Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth. Joey Logano was fifth. Gordon now has 90 Cup wins, third on the career list behind Richard Petty and David Pearson.

With a seventh place finish at the Brickyard, young Kyle Larson has pretty much locked up Rookie of the Year honors. Patrick had mechanical problems and finished next to last.

AJ Allmendinger won his first Cup race by holding off Marcus Ambrose in an "Old Fashioned" dandy at the Glen yesterday. The two drivers went hub to hub, wheel to wheel and door post to door post during the final laps. Reminded me of how NASCAR use to race.
