Again I am not actively looking for these pictures. Should all the top news agencies be arrested for propagating these pictures of her? It was all over including a story on cnn, aol, and many others.

You're taking a few things out of the context of world history. I'm reporting how things have always been with all societies at all times except for the US society within the last 50 years.
If this practice is so bad, why aren't people up in arms in the states that have the age of consent at 14 or 15? Why aren't there mobs of people banging on the doors of state legislatures of these states shaming the poor legislators of keeping such a law on the books? Why aren't most of the decent people of Canada trying to shame their legislatures about the age of consent of 14 in Canada? The answer is because this isn't as shameful a practice as some would lead us to believe in order for most of the world to have age of consent laws at this level.

The fact is, this girl was either 14 or days past her 15th birthday when these pictures were taken. Most countries have at least a 16 or 17 age minimum for consent. And don't even try to tell me that there is very little difference between a 14 year-old and a 16 or 17 year-old, because it's a huge difference. The body develops rapidly during those years, and this girl is not even close to fully developed.
Women in Ancient Rome (part of a history that you seem so fond of) were married off at 12 or even younger. To put this in context, a 12-year-old today is in 6th grade. By your logic, you're actually saying it would be okay to have sex with a kid who is in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL just because some past civilizations used to do it.

As far as age of consent goes, only the US shames people for breaking this law. While other countries have age of consent laws for 14 and 15 year olds very few actually imprison men for years when they break that law.
