You give Mike Leach this long to prepare for a team and he will roll. TT to the bank!!!!!

MIke Leach has been HC at TT for 9 years:

Give Houston Nutt some credit here....he is just a good a coach as mike leach. Ole Miss is the second best team in the SEC....their secondary worries me, but their D Line is more than fine my friend

I agree that Houston Nutt is a good coach and I agree that the Ole Miss d line is a good defensive line, but so is the offensive front for TT. They will give Harrell plenty of time to throw the ball today and he will pick apart the weakest part of the Ole Miss team, the secondary. Good luck.

Texas tech 2-5 straight up against sec teams since 1992

ole miss 6-1 straight up in bowl games since 1992
ole miss with 2 weeks rest 4-0 last 3 years
t.tech with 2 weeks rest 1-3 last 3 years

i do think harrell can throw on ole miss for some success but as we saw last night (vt/cinci)the team that controls the clock with the running game keeps the other offense off the field. This tends to frustrate many no huddle offenses breaking up the timing with the qb and wr"s and with no running game texas tech will be in trouble.

Ole.miss and the over would be a safe bet here.

it has nothing to do with a ranked team. Any team from the sec is going to be better than any top tier team from another conference. You play the best all year!!!! You are a better team than the posers who play no defense.

Uh, the SEC has one excellent team and two good ones. After that the rest of the conference is weak. Georgia or LSU would probably be the fourth best in the conference, and you can't really consider either of those as anything more than better-than-average.
