Miami catching 21 1/2 from Florida

Throw out the Canes domination of the Gators since 1986 (I was at the Orange Bowl in 1985 the last time the Gators beat Miami; that game was actually the last game Miami lost in the Bowl for over a decade) None of the players on either team were involved in any of those contests.

I think Urban is heavily motivated to smash Miami. Miami will be starting a qb that has never thrown a snap in college. Sure Miami has a great recruiting class but how much can you expect from their Freshman?

Line is a little high and you better check the weather but the Gators should roll in this game. I am going to buy this game to 20' in my parlays (5dimes).

If there getting storm conditions on Friday night as some huricane predictions show from tropical storm Hanna, and the game needs to be won on the ground it could be much closer then expected.

Is Miami that bad?

It has more to do with the fact that Florida is that good. I see a similar scenario to Miami going to Norman last year to play the Sooners. The Sooners had revenge to give for all the ass-kickings they took from Miami back in the 80s. Florida hasn't won a game against Miami in the last 6 games. They will try to totally dominate Miami in this game and I believe they will succeed. The spoils of the state's recruits are in the balance.

Canes played good D last night and Mullen failed (again) to adjust to the Canes game plan. When he did, UF started to move and put up points. The Canes have a lot to look forward to but their O will continue to be a problem for them with Nix as OC. Shannon is a good coordinator but its still up in the air about his HC ability.

The Gators were not ready to play, the players were overconfident, and wound up being a disappointment even though UF covered the line.
