Buzzer-beater for the Orioles, who reacquired Steve Pearce from the Rays (for minor league C Jonah Heim) right at the trade deadline. Pearce's righty bat should help the an O's offense that's hitting .272 against righties (2nd in AL), but just .236 vs. lefties (14th in AL). The 33-year old utility man is hitting .377 against southpaws this season, fourth highest in the majors (min. 50 AB's).
Blue Jays picked Liriano from the Pirates...He sucks this season.....He had a great last season......Maybe he turns it around.
