I doubt they get any runs here. Wasted chance with no outs and a runner at second and two fools cant even hit the ball. Sanata at the plate means another out it seems unless he gets walked...
ahhhh, gee, it's opening day, 40 degrees, weather sucks and he just threw 31 pitches in the 1st inning. so if he averages 15 over the next 3 innings, he is at 76. so maybe he cames out for the 5th? he has had elbow issues this spring and manuel doesn't want to kill his ace on opening day. you think he throws 90-100 today? i think his highest pitch count this spring was mid 70s. given this isn't port st. lucie and then add in that he stretches it out a bit more today, i say he throws somewhere in the mid 80s with this weather. so maybe he goes 5 innings. one more 20-25 pitch inning though and he'll struggle to pitch 5 complete. just my opinion.
