The thing is, they originally said UP TO TWO WEEKS...

Now they are saying TWO WEEKS "OR MORE"...

Seems like they want to pay, but it might be out of their hands and who knows what really goes on behind the scenes between governments, processors, companies, USA involvement, etc. or else we'd all know.

The "two week" deadline is Tuesday.

If funds are not transferred to the bank by Tuesday, which is what they had originally said (two weeks) then its almost considered you get it when you get it, if you get it.

Right now, I'll wait til Tuesday and if its not there, then I don't know. I'm hoping the funds will be there by Tuesday as they have said. Anything less would be stalling. Especially going from two weeks, to three weeks, to four weeks. Start dipping into the months, then you know they went bad.

Its sad bullshit when you feel that getting your own money back in your hand is a bonus. What the hell...

Personally, I don't buy this "processors are swamped" shit, but who knows. Hopefully this won't turn into a write off.

All we can really do is wait like shmucks.

Anyone receive a Neteller Debit Card who applied for one AFTER this mess began?

One person I know hasn't received approval for the card yet, and another friend was approved on the 17th but hasn't received his card in the mail yet.

my friend has been locked out of neteller. he has 4 transactions for total of 20 k. they said he has to get there legal dept. to reopen. he said that he was a little upset because agents were rude and said it could be several weeks to months to get money and he asked if he needed to get a lawyer to get his money. they said since he threatened to get a lawyer that they closed his account. give me a break, who wouldnt be mad. they are hosing all of us. i have 9 k not processed. they have made so much off of me in cc fees. they say up to 8 weeks to process. any advice on getting money back .this is just wrong. i called and they were rude to me to.

How Rx Can Perform a Valuable Service to Members re Neteller

A poster on another thread suggested RX conact Neteller for info.

But unless the contactor is a professional in the info mining trade, you won't get much more than the boilerplate on the Neteller website. Esp if you send then an email!! Easier to dispose of than toilet tissue.

But there is a way for Rx to get vital info for its members.

By having a talented member of the Rx staff do it.

True, it would be best done by a good, persistent, innovative investigative reporter, one who is intimaely acquainted with the gambling industry, who has written hundreds of stores for both the general media and the gaming trade publications.

That would be ideal. But I'm not interested. I have too many other commtments. Like I just spent hours listing on eBay some 40 hi-tech items, and tomorrow have to drive 3 hours to check some property.

But Rx has a good investigative reporter in the making. I saw this person on another board challenge a poster who claimed to have a controversial document, chased him through many threads until he admitted that he couldn't produce it.

Wow, that's persistence. It's a definite requirement in going after a story like this. Another sine qua non is a nose for bullshit. This Rx staffer has that too. If would serve whether covering the NT story, or Pinny, or in the past Bos, Aces Gold, etc.

Before on i'm my way tomorrow I'll offer my suggestions as to how I would approach getting vital info for Rx members, and who seems best suited to do it. And quite immodestly, how I would do it.

Neteller stiff job odds.....70 percent

I've been following a lot of these Neteller threads and there seems to be a pattern here that will eventually lead to total stiff job...or close to it. There really isn't any other option. Future profits are "Up In Smoke" like Cheech and Chong. The water is entering the boat....they've been paddling for almost two weeks now.

Most insiders with these companies have at least cashed-out enough to live with themsleves (and the money) no matter what happens (Party Poker people to name a few).

The two Neteller founders know it is over as well.....as to future profits. This is the perfect scenario for a massive stiff job (sounds like a bad porn movie, doesn't it?). The Stiffers will be able to blame the government and guess who will pay the ultimate price? That would be the players, or Stiffees.

Also, to all of those who ever played with locals and got in over your head, don't feel bad, situations happen. Just look at the books today, even the honorable ones are using the same delay tactics that neighborhood players have been using for years. Does that make them less than honorable? Maybe, maybe not, but unlike you they will not feel guilty about it, and they will be able to walk around their communities without "ducking" and "avoiding", while the local player has for years had to pay an uncomfortable price if he got in a jam.

Bottom line for all of those under the gun right now, the ones on the good side of 11-10,.... PAY THE MAN HIS MONEY! Just having fun here, but it is quite ironic how the shoe is on the other foot, at least for the time being. Let this be a learning experience for those who always have the upper hand.....not too many people stiff unless they are on ZERO, and most of the people who owe already got drilled for everything they have.

I have been on both sides of the equation and all I can say is that when it comes to money....everyone is of the same religion. I have just $11 in Neteller, haven't owed or been owed money in years, and I approve of this message.

Just spoke with Neteller supervisor....

15 mins. ago. The first rep had no answers whatsoever, and when she referred to a supervisor that "has not given [her] that information," I asked to speak with the supervisor. The supervisor was a female that spoke good English, and was articulate and reasonably intelligent, FWIW. She didn't have many answers either, and when pressed about the time frame for US withdrawals, she repeatedly stated two things, neither of which is good: (1) we are in the process of exploring ways for US customers to withdraw money; and (2) withdrawals to US customers are experiencing EXTREME delays, and we are no longer giving a time frame for withdrawals. She stated that the initial time frame was 6-8 weeks, but that they had recently been instructed not to give any time frame, and to cite "extreme delays." Ouch! She of course confirmed the Neteller card no longer working. SHe also said that there are various non-gaming sites that take Neteller, at which a US customer could make a purchase, but that it would violate their "privacy agreement" to disclose who they were. SHe advised me to do an Internet search in order to find some.

"Extreme delays" -- straight from the horse's mouth. Not good.

Neteller will hold funds to combat U.S

The only leverage Neteller has right now is to hold U.S. player funds indefinitely. This will draw complaints, and the government will not want to be totally responsible for taking this money of the players (not that they really care too much).

Bottom line is that Neteller will hold these funds hostage as they try to work out deals for the two founders, and also deal with any other criminal complaints/indictments. They know the business is OVER, and they are trying to get out alive without certain people going to jail.

This will drag out likely for years.
