The Irish won 11-7 at Duke in the opener. ND gives up just 7.6 goals per game and has won in the NCAA's by 8-5 over Princeton, 7-5 over Md and 12-7 over Cornell. The ACC was 45-2 against non-ACC teams this year and both losses were to ND. Duke is deep with many 5th year players (given an extra year due to the rape allegations severla years ago) but has a freshman goalie.

ND's goalie is a senior (Scott Rodgers) and he is 6'5" and 254 pounds and is playing well. Duke has been to two finals and lost close games. Look for a 9-8 final in a battle of offense vs. defense.

Nice winner as the game ends 6-5 in OT.
