Blah blah blah, they always say every law is going to destroy the country and old people are going to die, and this and that... stop drinking the partisan kool-aid, you'll be fine.

WOW!
There really is something very wrong with you!

Just a couple of more questions for you.
How can you add 30 million people to a system that will lose 40+% of the doctors already in the system, because they wont get paid as much, and will have to take on that extra load for less money?
How? HOW?
30 Million more people in the system, and doctors will have to take a pay cut!
How can the Govt pay for it? How? HOW?

"More Freedom" doesn't mean anything. What will actually fix it by allowing "more freedom"? The baseline is that anyone who needs healthcare will get it, so how do you make it more affordable for those that can afford it? You are still going off an assumption that doctors have a choice to treat patients.

Do you mean those that can't afford it? It depends on the circumstance. Less then 5% of the population can't afford it because they're truly poor or because of their medical history. For those people, I have no problem with a government program. It is everyone else that is driving up health care costs.

Why would doctors have to take a pay cut with 30 more million people in the system? And where do you get these absolutely ridiculous numbers? 40%??? You are literally just making things up. Typical conservative.

You are too far brainwashed to have an intelligent conversation with. I'm sure Snoop will gladly have a schizophrenic conversation with you! You two can make up whatever you want with each other!

Moron, you're a biggest brainwashed liberal on this forum, everyone knows it.

Beside your usual trolling, labeling, and name calling, what is your point? What liberals think "MORAL" is moral for everyone? LMAO!!! Your lacking of critical thinking is hitting a new low fucktard. Take my advice, ask your school or whatever shit hole you went to for a refund. Your dad wasted $150K for your shitty education, you're a mess.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield study that found that only 8.2 million people were long term involuntary uninsured.

Out of what pool of people? Those that can afford healthcare but choose not to? Or of all working age people.

All people. people that can afford to buy healthcare but choose not too are not involuntarily uninsured, that is voluntary uninsured. And for involuntarily uninsured, I have no problem with a government program.

There was a study by the Employment Policies Institute that found "that at least 43 percent of Americans in the 18–64 year-old age group have incomes at or above 2.5 times the poverty line". A good chunk of those w/o health ins can afford to buy it, they just choose not too.

I'm gonna need to see a source. I have never heard of a number as low as 5% before.

I'm not saying only 5% of the population is uninsured, I'm saying roughly 5% is involuntarily long term uninsured. Again, roughly half the uninsured population is only short term uninsured, less then 1 year, because they're inbetween jobs. Another chunk can afford insurance but they choose not to buy it.

I know you're not saying that. I just need to read the source to see what parameters they are using. Because I still do not believe 5% are involuntarily long term uninsured. So you are saying 95% of American's can afford health insurance?

If there were a few small changes to some laws, yes. Keep in mind that almost 85% already have it, and around 8% don't have it because they're in between jobs. If not for that, less than 10 would be uninsured.

Anybody that makes over 30k per year can afford health care. The problem with these sorry ass people who support this bill is if they would grow up, pay for life needs instead of wants, and forget the mindset that healthcare is a birth given right that should be shouldered by the government......this country would be on the rise instead of the decline. That simple.

Once again, look it up. There are many articles, both right and left, about the doctors not getting paid as much and taking on the bigger load of patients, hence, its just not worth it to work as a doctor anymore.
Also did you know that a brain surgeon will be paid the same as a GP? Why would you want to be paid the same a GP when your insurance alone as a brain surgeon costs over 300K per year?
Oh, sorry, GP meand General Practitioner. I didnt mean for your mercury laden brain to have to work so hard and get you all confused.
I will again accept you apology when you find it.

That is why ever Democrat should sponsor at lease one poor person and pay their healthcare. Problem solved DEAC. Here's an idea. You go first. Get the ball rolling. I can honestly see all you Dems solving this crisis in just a matter of months. Keep me posted DEAC. I'm am so proud of you for doing this.

DEAC, any updates yet? How's that Healthcare enrollment for you and your fellow Dems going. I figured after a day or so you'd have at lease one poor person covered by now. Any luck?

Bingo!!!

Oh wait, it's just that the bleeeeeding heart liberals want SOMEONE ELSE to pay for the poor person's healthcare not themselves.

Can you say "hypocrisy?"

Oprah, Bill Gates and Microsoft could cover all of the uninsured in America by donating about 10% of their wealth.

Problem solved.
