Mega is not a one year wonder. He posted at Covers since 2002 I believe. Someone on twitter tracked his plays and he was at something like 63% last 3 years. Believe he's had just one loosing year in the past 10. Guy's legit. It's why he's one of the very few guys who after releasing a play will actually move lines at times.
As to why he became a service.. who knows? He did say on occasion on his threads last yr he doesn't bet too much on his games b/c he doesn't like the stress associated with it (which answers your question as to why he doesn't lay big money on his picks). So perhaps this is just a way to earn extra money in a time of need. Who really knows? As many have pointed out he offers write up on many games in addition to providing other content. So you're not just paying for picks. That being said, this is his first year as a service so who knows how he'll do now thru a whole season w/ the added pressure? Been a rough start for him for sure and it's anyone guess if he can avoid the "tout curse" by the time season's over.
Also Pennywise does not flat bet all his picks. He's been betting x2, x3 and x5 type bets like crazy past 2 weeks. He's had a great run on bases for sure. Hopefully he can follow that up w/ football run as well. As to betting a dime per unit.. unless he's posted tickets actually showing that, u might want to slow your roll on taking people at their word online. Only believe what can be verified.
