no, I like Ryan, he's a reasoned man that agrees with me on the majority of issues. I can think of a single person that agrees with me on everything, so I'm good with about 80 to 85 percent (although taxes and economic growth are two examples of a must agree, there are several other issues I'm less concerned about)

as for the coverage of the horse race, it seems as if everywhere I looked stories were popping up about Ryan being in trouble, so much so I actually believed the polls had to be closer (never looked into it)

maybe they were citing other stories, they like to do that to without providing mitigating circumstances
