McGregor vs. Diaz scoring

They're meant to be very rare. I've given 3 in the last 4 years. 2 of those 3 times, the fighter didn't answer the bell for the next round and retired on the stool, so highly warranted.

new rules imply that it's based on duration, dominance, and damage. If 2 of the 3 come into play, it should be considered. If all 3, it should be a given.

How did you score the fight? Looked like Diaz took rounds 3 and 5. Even with the knockdowns it never appeared like Diaz was ever really stunned or else McGregor would have pursued.

I've actually yet to watch the entire fight. Lol the bits and pieces I've see. Didn't show anyone straight dominating though. I will score
it if I get around to watching it soon...

One other question....how is Connor's cardio so poor? If you're a professional fighter in his weight class how are you gassing in the 3rd round?

Diaz was gazing on those knocks IMO, he wanted McG to come charging so he could take the fight into the ground and grapple/clinch. McG saw through this and just told him "get up MOFO". Diaz was almost KO'd a couple of times but on at least 2 of those 3 "knockdowns" he was trapping IMO.

Something about the Diaz brothers' style gasses people. Maybe it's the volume of quick slapping punches that have to be dodged, IDK. It sure didn't look like a quick enough pace for Conor to be gassed and running the way he was in the 3rd. 2nd wind did kick in for him though

I thought Conor 3 Diaz 2 was accurate. I didn't see any round that deserved a 10-8, but if there was one it would have been Conor's. I agree with some others in this thread, 10-8s are rare and one fighter needs to be getting his ass kicked half the round or more and get saved by the bell.
