Wimbledon Men's Quarter Finals

Roger Federer/Tomas Berdych Over 37.5 -129 (Risk 8 to win 6.2)

This year Berdych has finally shown his big potential in the big stage in RG and now plays great in Wimbledon as well. He hasn't had big mental lapses whitch have hampered his career and he looks more determined than ever. In the contrast Roger goes in a hole couple of times in a match nowadays if it get's a long one and this is not the same Fedex we used to see in the years back. Don't blake him,he won it all!

Last year these two played a 5 setter in Australian Open, and despie the swiss leading 8-2 the h2h the last couple of the meeting were a close encounters. I think this match will not end in 3 sets and can't see both mengettin broken a lot as well.

Rafael Nadal (-2.5 games) -114 over Robin Soderling (Risk 4 to win 3.51)

I like Nadal's form showed here, despite his lapses against Haase and Petzschner overall i find him a more solid one than Robin to take this one.

For Today:

A pick for 07/01

Wimbledon Women's Semi-Final

Serena Williams (-5.5 games) -129 over Petra Kvitova (Risk 5 to win 3.88)

I think Petra's heroics against Kanepi could take it's toll for the upcoming match against Serena. Williams was a dominant as it can be against the inform Chinese Na Li and i think she will take this match with ease. They have met only once and it was during Australian Open 2010,a 6-2,6-1 flawless win for the black pearl. Don't think the score will be so convincing but it may well happen. Playing it right now early as i think the line will drop.

Wimbledon Women's Semi-Final
Vera Zvonareva (-4 games) -105 over Tsvetana Pironkova (Risk 3.15 to win 3)

Pironkova made something no other Bulgarian has done,to participate in a semi-final match at Wimbledon. Not even the great Malleevi sisters have come more than a 1/4 final here, despite they had more impressive careers and resumes around their names. A huge achievement for the little Bulgaria country. Both players made upsets to get here with Pironkova's scalps of Bartoli and especially Venus Williams are far notable ones. Pironkova leads the h2h 1-0 with her rout over Vera with 6-2,6-0 in Moscow last year but i don't give much into it. Zvonareva was with injury, she had couple of time-outs during that match and it was obvious she wasn't prepared at all for a fight. Few years back after Pironkova defeated Venus in Ausralian Open all the media interest did her harm and she felt next round to a less class player,i think something like this can be expected today. Even in her last match Tsveti showed some tightness, despite Venus crashing every ball int the net or out and increasing her unforced error count to new hights the American broke her in the early 2nd set and only the overall bad match from the American and some good plays by the Bulgarian carried her through for the unthinkable easy 6-2,6-3. I don't want to take anything from the Bulgarian but Venus was not Venus that day, period! Not often you will see her making 5 DF and 29 Unforced errors and winning below 60% of 1st serves in. Vera beat Clijsters after the Belgian made her error fiasco in the 2nd and 3rd set but, overall she placed 70% 1st serves in the court and won 75% of those points, against a returner like Kim is something big. I think against Pironkova the russian will be the more stable one despite her mental lapses from time to time. She was No.5 in the world, been to this kind of big matches on Center Court in whitch Tsveti never was. Pironkova haven't got through to 4-th round in GS level prior to Wimbledon and i think she will feel the more pressure of the two and therefore will lose this match and covers the spread in favour of her opponent.

Wimbledon Men's Semi-Finals

Rafael Nadal (-3 games) +103 over Andy Murray (Risk 6 to win 6.18)

I watched most of both players' matches and i must admit i am far more keen on Rafa victory here. I have to agree about most comments and thoughts that this is Andy's best shot at taking the Wimbledon crown this year because if he can somehow get through Rafa than he will be favourite against the winner of Djoko/Berdych match, but i simply doubt it will happen. Last 3 times Nadal has played in London he has gone to the final,2 time a loss and 1 time a win over Roger Federer and year after year he has become more and more used to grass,he has become a more attacking player and a short ball often gets ended with a winner. Nadal leads the h2h 7-3,including 1 win ovr Murray in 2008 Wimby match in 3 sets. He holds the better serve%, less break points conceded and i think the spaniard will take this one.

Tomas Berdych/Novak Djokovic Over 42.5 -108 (Risk 2.16 to win 2)

I missed the over in games in the Berdych/Federer match by 2 games as i was expecting a less break of serves especially in Roger's one but man i was wrong. I am not keen to pick a winner between these two. Bookies put them in almost identical position with the money starting to flow for the Serb nearing match time, but his breathing problems whitch vome and go away often in long matches i don't feel it's worth the risk. On other hand despite the very good 3-1 win over Federer,Berdych showed his usually choking ability in the end of the 4-th and Roger's poor form and messy return prevented a break back to 5-5. Djokovic leads the h2h 2-0,boh meeting taken to zero in 2/3 hard court matches. I think today the czech will win his 1st set against Novak and why not take the whole thing, but i like this to go to close 4-5 sets.

Wimbledon Women's Final

Serena Williams (-4.5 games) -125 over Vera Zvonareva (Risk 7 to win 5.6)

Serena Williams struggled in the 1st set against Kvitova whitch cost me the spread bet i had on it. But than she went with an ease in teh 2nd. Kvitova played really good while serena was a little off on her game. I just think Vera don't have th necessary weapons to take this match,Pironkova had hr on the ropes after th 1st set but the young Bulgarian couldn't maintain the good game and eventually Vera got back and won it.This is final,Serena,it will be difficult for the Russian no doubt.
