Hey Max, why is Sharapova only -115 against Safina? Seems kind of low for a star like her.

Cause clay is probally her worst surface and in tennis the surface is so important. If this was not clay she would be a BIG favorite also believe Safina has had a pretty good clay season.

5Dimes primarily for me too for tennis. I have 10 others, but most are useless for tennis except for the odd line here or there. Carib, Worldbet and Cris are the only ones who even offer parlays. Pinnny, Oly, sia come up with a decent line sometimes and have set betting. Pinny has handicaps in later rounds. For MLB, I use Pinny & ABC Islands mostly. if I really wanted to get seroius about tennis, a Euro book or 3 would be a must. Betfair, Gamebrokers, Bet365, 10bet. Ladbrokes, Pointbet, Royal, Expekt, Betsafe are popular. I find many of them hard to navigate though, sort of like driving on the other side of the road. I'm thinking of joining Matchbook &/or Mansion for MLB. Sometimes the Euro books are slow to move or have odd lines for US sports. That's why I just kept Worldbet, which I originally jsut got for soccer.

Safina has a good shot today.

Nice call on Monfils. Congrats. I hedged at the last minute with the +5', so that took the sting off a bit. Turned out to be a bad matchup for James. Unreal how he ran down those blasts to the corners that would have been winners vs. most. What do you think of Monfils chances today vs. a similar type hard hitter?

That's a tough call. Monfils is hitting on all cylinders right now but what worrys me is that he has played 3 back to back to back 5 setters and he will be going w out the days rest. I am leaning on him to lose the 1st set -140 at 5dimes. Will try to post by 5am on what I like but this should be some tennis this week and chances to make some good $$ on those propbets that start w the next matches

Oops! My mistake. -145 was for first set. Neither book will cancel my bet. :( Oly has -170 for match. They might let me change it.

Martin retires before the 1st set is complete so my wagers have been voided.

I ended up taking Monfils wins 1st set +1.10

I took Djokovic in some parlays with Hantuchova/Sugiyama, Seattle and Ariz (Webb is lights out) MLB and Dallas (NBA). Hedged with Monfils 3-1, 3-2 at Pinny +540/580.

Btw, Oly was nice enough to cancel my mistaken bet, though it did not matter as they require 2 sets to be played. Betmaker would not cancel my Benneteau hedge, so I might win that depending on their rules, which are not posted!

Betmaker just graded my win for Benneteau +165! What a turn of events. I like Martin, but win with the dog when trying for a non-existent scalp. Boy, I stepped in it today!

Note to self:
1. Check tennis rules for each book, especially when there is a chance of injury or a player is coming off a long match or two.

2. Never bet when exhausted.

I wagered ao Martin at skybook. The tennis rules cover suspensions but not retirement. Has anyone wagered there and faced this situation?

What time does Federer play?

I spoke to Amy at C/S, she checked for me and i was told that if a player retires or there is a DQ all wagers are void.

Never played at Skybook so I cant comment on their rules but 5dimes clearly states that the 1st set must complete. Since he retired at 5-1 the 1 set never completed so thank god for the voided wager.

Federer plays on Tues. morning **=this is paris time
