I just lost my job and my wife is finishing grad school in May and Htown is one of the places we would consider moving. I like it more than she does. We would probably want to move to the Woodlands, but she complains(and is right) that is to far north.

No I actually live in a 2 bedroom apartment off Threadneedle off BarryKnoll....my patio faces the buyou near 10...a couple of office buildings back there also. The Apartments arn't that fancy but they allow large breed dogs...I have been there for 3+ yrs and facing the buyou has its advantages since I dont have to leash my dogs at all.


Mini Htown Bash sounds great...we should have it at Sherlocks in the Carrilon Center by the beltway. The GM's a good freind so I have the place reserved for us just pick a date and I'll take care of the drinks:drink:

Watched a lot of the hurricane coverage last weekend on Directv, who dedicated a channel to local Houston TV. Found it amazing how this storm was handled compared to New Orleans and the Katrina hurricane. The Houston area should be proud of the lack of looting and other crimes.
