serves them cheaters right. i didnt check, but i heard that brady was on the injured list for the whole years of 2006 AND 2007! AND that billicheat would manipulate the injury list, because NFL didnt like the fact he would not use it correctly. one time almost everyplayer(maybe all) were on the list as probable.

fast forward to this year, when we all hear how brady is hurt, in preseason ,and might not play in week #1 until later in the week. was tom brady on the injury list this week?

why does bill get away with cheating(ok not get away with it). it seems like nfl was quick to sweep the cheating tapes under the rug, going so far as to BURN the evidence saying it "wasn't important"?! now he abuses injury list with no repercussions. why does this cheater/asshole get special treatment?

well they were, like it or not, a dynasty. If something negative is brought towards them, then its a bigger problem for the NFL rather then the Pats. It makes people question the NFL and how you really win games in that sport.

Tough to say what will become of the Pats. Brady was critical, but he wasn't the whole team, the Pats are solid in other areas. This Sunday will tell the tale as Cassel has a week to let the nerves set in about being the starting QB for the Pats. And he'll be facing a Jets team that won't be as easy to beat as they were last season - with or without Brady.

I would love to see the Pats fans after they go 6-10 without Brady.

I'd love to see Manning and a couple other guys dust them off 49-0 also.

LMFAO, the colts are the most overrated team in football. offensive line sucks. defense can't stop the run. they will be the best fade all year long

Cassel isn't a bad QB guys. This might be more of a reflection of how bad the division is, but I wouldn't trade him for any other starting QB in the division. Don't even try to tell me Brett Favre because you'll never convince me he's still a good QB. Cassel is no Tom Brady, but he's good enough to lead this talented team to at least a 11-5 season, with a decent chance of still winning 13-14 games.

Cassel could be the worst QB in the league and they'd still win that pathetic division with ease. He's good though and they'll still be contenders.

Cassel is more Matt Schaub than Tom Brady.

holy SHAT i hope this was a joke. you do realize that your hero matt cassell will be starting his first game SINCE HIGHSCHOOL ON SUNDAY!!!! HE DID NOT EVEN START 1 GAME IN COLLEGE!!!

yea matt cassell is better then brett farve...LMFAO...he is now EASILY the worst starting QB in football

Looks like Belichick is going to ride Cassell- Rattay and Simms were both sent home to Foxboro due to "circumstances having changed"

just watch cassell turn into the next tom brady. it happens all the time. brady came out of no where when bledsoe got hurt. Kurt Warner came out of no where when Trent Green got hurt and then Marc Bulger came in after Warner won two superbowls and then got hurt.
